Baked oatmeal

A different way to eat porridge is "baked oatmeal" , and looks like something between oatmeal & cake!

It can be baked and stored in the refrigerator or freezer so you can be breakfast ready for the next few days! Just heat it in the microwave and it's ready!

 

What you will need:

  • 1 1/2 cups oats (rolled oats)
  • 3/4 cup milk or almond drink
  • 2 eggs
  • cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup raisins or other dried fruits
  • 1-2 tbsp. tahini or peanut butter (optional)
  • 2 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. baking powder

 

1. Mix the oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and raisins in a fireproof dish.
2. In another bowl, mix the remaining ingredients and mix with the rest of the ingredients in the fireproof dish.
3. Leave the mixture on the kitchen counter for 10 minutes.
4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 30 minutes.

This is the basic recipe. Feel free to add other fruits, such as apples, or grated carrots and walnuts!
